This Chinese cousin of the cabbage family is a real asset for a beautiful salad: the purple-blue flowers (as beautiful as orchids) and the young leaves taste mild and delicious. Sown in late summer, the plants provide a harvest of leaves all winter, and the following summer the flowers take over! Larger leaves are good for stir-frying. The seeds have a high oil content, offering great potential for the edible oil industry. Size: 30-60 cm.
