Sowing method: Year-round. Mix the hard seeds with a handful of river sand and store at 15-20°C for several months, regularly stirring and keeping moist. This is necessary to soften the hard seed coat and make it permeable to water. Then store at ± 5°C, after which the actual germination can start. Once sprouts become visible after a few weeks or months: sow. This method is called "stratification."
