Winter Melon 'Luna' F1

This honeydew melon is unique because its deliciously sweet flesh, hidden under the golden-yellow (smooth) skin, is a bright salmon-pink colour. This type is very popular in Spain, as well as in large parts of Asia. The skin is easy to peel. This professional variety is early and very healthy; the fruits weigh 1.5-2 kg and can be stored for a long time. For cultivation under glass only.

Winter melon (Inodorus group) A melon that ripens after harvesting and can be stored for a long time. The shape is round to (long) oval, the skin is quite smooth, sometimes slightly pleated and/or ribbed. The skin colour varies per variety from white, yellow to black-yellow striped. The flesh is firm and sweet in white, yellow, or orange colours.
