The egg-shaped fruits are creamy white with green spots and stripes, beautiful for presentation with your meal, popular with chefs. The small melon ripens fairly quickly and is highly resistant to the feared root rot. Cultivation in the greenhouse is preferred.
Winter Melon (Inodorus group) A melon that ripens after harvesting and can be stored for a long time. The shape is round to (long)oval, the skin is fairly smooth, sometimes slightly pleated and/or ribbed. The skin color varies per variety from white, yellow to black-yellow striped. The flesh is firm and sweet in colors white, yellow or orange.
