What a wonderfully colored, emerald green corn! As ornamental corn, it is of course a beauty, but this variety originally comes from Southern Mexico, where the Indians (Zapotecs, Mixtecs and Mazatecs) already cultivated it as baking corn. The cobs are 15-25 cm long and grow on sturdy plants over 2 meters high.
