This is a playful cross between our 'Red Russian' (167800) and 'Siberian' (167850). This results in a beautiful loose-leaf kale, already popular for decoration in Victorian times! You will find a mix of (more or less) serrated leaves in shades of blue-green, purple to bright green, all with green or red veins. It adorns the garden (or containers) and offers variety on the plate: eat them young in a salad or let them grow larger for stir-frying or making a stew. Like other kales, it is very cold-hardy!
