Since the 18th century, a cabbage with many documented recipes has been cultivated around Tuscany. This cabbage, however, was already eaten in Roman times and is probably the ancestor of our kale. Many consider it the most beautiful stem cabbage with long, dark to blue-green ribbed leaves. The leaves are narrow and evenly distributed along the stem (like a palm). Deliciously tender and very graceful, also very decorative in a pot! The plants are very frost-resistant.
