A decorative green kale with many elongated leaves that protrude like long tongues from the base of the plant. The curled leaves resemble the vibrating movement of a lark's tongue, hence the name. The plants grow to at least 1 meter high and can continue to grow in spring; cut off the flowers and turn it into a perennial small tree!
