In places where cucumbers or (water)melons have been grown before, various fungal diseases are often present in the soil. New plantings of cucumbers or melons then quickly fall prey to, for example, Fusarium or Verticillium. The solution for this is the use of a resistant rootstock. Ardito is the powerhouse for organic cucumber cultivation. In cultivation trials, it consistently comes out on top, particularly due to its very strong root development. For cucumbers and melons, use the larger size grafting clips, see here: 847525. A clear video about grafting cucumbers (the same applies to (water)melons) can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Cgxr3aj0G8
