Melon Cucumber 'Silver Charm' F1
- Product number: 131650
- Origin: Middle East, Southwest Asia
- Latin: Cucumis melo flexuosus
At first glance, you might think you're dealing with a cucumber, but botanically speaking, this is a melon! The taste also proves it: the freshness of cucumbers, but the sweet touch of a melon. The light green to almost white fruits have decorative ribs along the length of the fruit, which can reach up to 80 cm in the greenhouse! Edible at any stage, usually optimal at 30 cm, but sweetest when ripe.
This modern variety can withstand many weather conditions, so it also seems a contender for outdoor cultivation... a healthy snack for the summer!
