A relative of the tomato with a bizarre name! In the past, when cannibals still lived on the Fiji islands, the story was recorded by botanist B.C. Seeman ( in 1864) that human flesh, along with 2 herbs, really had to be prepared with the sauce of this fruit to be appetizing... We're not planning to test it out. Meanwhile, it is again an interesting fruit vegetable: healthy leaf growth with plenty of 4cm ∅ fruits. The taste is slightly more bitter than our common tomato, making it ideal for stir-frying or cooking. The leaves are also edible. Height of this bushy plant: 1-1.5m.
