A show-stopper: a bicoloured snow pea! The pods are green with a pink blush and the flowers have a beautiful two-tone colour: wine red with a light lilac to white standard. For your own propagation, you will need to continue to select for the purest colour, as the variety is still young and needs to be further "bred true"... This vigorously growing climber yields a high production of (not only beautiful but also) deliciously tender pods! In the US, this variety is called "hyper-tendril" (semi-leafless), which means the plants produce many tendrils instead of leaves, which you can optionally harvest and mix deliciously into salads! 'Spring Blush' promises to be a keeper and was developed by Alan Kapuler PhD.
