Sugar snaps 'Delikett' / 'Cascadia'

  • Product number: 095910
  • Origin: Mediterranean Sea region
  • Latin: Pisum sativum var. macrocarpon

The pods are remarkably thick, tender, and sweet; they retain this quality longer during post-ripening. This semi-tall snow pea needs some support (height 80 cm) and ripens in about 70 days. Tip: alternate planting this legume with Gold of Pleasure (390900) for natural support.

Deliciously sweet and with a soft skin. You don't need to shell the peas, just remove the tips and the string. Do pick them relatively young. Briefly stew them or eat them raw in salads!
