Pea 'Ambassador' / 'Markana'

  • Product number: 094200
  • Origin: Mediterranean region, Europe
  • Latin: Pisum sativum

There are only a few varieties where all or part of the leaves have been transformed into tendrils. Markana is one such so-called semi-leafless variety. Because they provide a more open crop, fewer diseases occur. Tip: sow 2 rows 25 cm apart so they support each other (possibly with a single stick here and there) and then sufficient distance (60 cm) between the double rows. The height is 60-75 cm, the yield of the sweet, early-ripening peas is large! Tip: sow this legume alternately with Camelina (390900) for natural support.

Denominations:
Latin: Pisum sativum
