This is a (semi) leafless Afila-type pea. Due to their open growth, leafless peas are more resistant to fungi, and their growth is also sturdier than many leafy types. Instead of leaves, this variety forms very attractive branched tendrils, which are very tasty and make a fantastic garnish! The flowers are also very tasty, but be warned: no flowers means no peas... An additional advantage is that you can easily harvest the pea pods because they are clearly visible and cannot hide... The plants grow to about 75 cm high and you harvest (besides the tendrils) wonderfully sweet, medium-sized peas, 6-8 per pod.
Alternative: you can also grow this pea as a microgreen; after the ordinary cotyledons, the tendrils quickly appear, which you can harvest when very young.
