A fertile, round, dark green zucchini. Harvest them young for the most tender taste experience! This (non-trailing) traditional variety was apparently (given the name) widely cultivated around the Italian city of Piacenza. Along the Po and Trebbia rivers, the soil is very fertile, and Milan and Genoa are nearby…
Zucchini can be grown outdoors without any problems. This variety is non-trailing; the fruits grow from the center of
the plant. For consumption, harvest the fruits young to very young. For ornamental purposes, let them grow larger, then they can be stored.
