A beautiful zucchini that already looks very attractive and fully grown when harvested young. Harvest them from a length of 10-15 cm, when they are already green with light green, raised ribs. The plant has a rather open growth habit, making harvesting easy.

Zucchini can be grown outdoors without any problems. This variety is not a vining type; the fruits grow from the center of
the plant. For consumption, harvest the fruits young to very young. For ornamental purposes, let them grow larger, then they can be stored.

(Too) large a harvest? Sauté a quantity of chopped courgettes, onions, and garlic. Then, purée and freeze it. After thawing, this, along with broth, forms a great base for soups. If the courgette is a bit too large: Peel and deseed it, then thinly peel it completely with a vegetable peeler or cheese slicer to create courgette ribbons, beautiful white strands. Sprinkle with salt and let drain. Then, with two generous tablespoons of chopped chives, the same amount of burnet leaves, and the same amount of mayonnaise, mix well. Here is a delicious salad for approximately 4 to 8 people, depending on the courgette.
