Climbing French Bean 'Trionfo Violetto' / 'A Cosse Violette' 50g

  • Product number: 049150
  • Origin: Central America
  • Latin: Common bean

A beautiful variety from Italy, somewhere between a bacon bean and a slicing bean. The pods grow to 22-25 cm long and 15 mm wide. The beautiful purple-blue colour comes with graceful, lilac-pink flowers and disappears after cooking. The taste is praised in many Italian books, and Italians are very taste-conscious when it comes to vegetables…! They can be harvested both young and mature: the pod remains tender for a long time.

Denominations:
Latin: Phaseolus vulgaris
Dutch: Stoksnijbonen
Also known as: Trionfo Violetto, A Cosse Violette, Purple Podded Climbing
