French Beans (Dwarf) 'Nautica'

  • Product number: 040500
  • Origin: Central and South America
  • Latin: Phaseolus vulgaris

The earliest stringless needle bean. It is a strong grower, yet forms a sturdy crop. The fine pods reach about 12 - 14 cm in length; if picked extremely young, you cultivate them in the tradition of the true French needle bean. However, this variety also remains quite thin and stringless at an older stage. When sowing, it is immediately noticeable that this is a black-seeded variety, which usually (and also with Nautica) goes hand in hand with an extra deep flavour and beautiful violet flowering! Expect a great yield per plant in any weather condition.
