So small and so fine! The smallest aubergines I have ever seen come from Thailand and are bright green, the size of olives or grapes! A wonderful, firm, rich flavour, which is great for stir-frying, for example. They can also be eaten raw; the fruits are bitter like olives and are marinated in curry in Thailand. This ancient Asian vegetable (but still a hit!) has the potential to break through in Europe. The plants are large and yield an enormous harvest. Fortunately, the fruits grow in clusters, which makes harvesting easier! The harvest is quite late, and cultivation must be in a greenhouse.
