This beautiful, old variety (since 1964) has more than earned its stripes in the hobby world! Outdoor cultivation is particularly successful, and the relatively compact plants yield a remarkably good harvest of oval, light green fruits. These weigh an average of 300g and have a very good flavour. Don't let them get too ripe, as the unique flavour will deteriorate... The plants are remarkably disease-resistant. The variety was developed by Prof. Elwyn Meader of the University of New Hampshire.
