Our Belgian grower Lieven David (VELT) cultivated this rich mixture for us and says about it himself: My Amaranth mixture (annual plants) has thick stems, large leaves (shades between green and red) and beautiful red to cream-coloured, upright inflorescences. The seeds are beige, red, or black. Height: 80 to 150 cm, depending on the variety and soil fertility. Eat the leaves in salads or stewed, and the ripe seeds as grain.
