Open-pollinated seed from various Sarpo varieties and crosses. Each seed can produce a new variety, which you then propagate further using tubers. Expect mainly late, floury varieties with potentially high yields and, above all, good resistance to potato blight. So, after the first growing year, don't eat all those tubers immediately: plant the most productive ones the following year. Only after the 2nd season can you expect a full harvest.
Sowing potatoes is a fun adventure, which is a normal practice for breeders of new varieties! The initial cultivation is just like with tomatoes: sow, prick out, and plant out in April-May (no night frost!)
