The large arrow-shaped leaves are a haphazard mix of light green and dark green patches, the name is comically apt!
Each year, we purchase the largest possible tubers for cultivating these beautiful, large plants, which will create a splendid burst of color in your garden during summer, whether in pots, containers, or even a large pot on the windowsill. Because these plants also thrive exceptionally well in the shade, they bring color to areas where flowers typically cannot! In autumn, the plant dies back, and you can overwinter the tubers in a frost-free (and relatively dry) environment.
