Beautifully veined leaves and (later) pink flowers with a purple spot. The leaves have a strong citrus scent, similar to orange.
Scented geraniums are a welcome addition to a sensory garden. Just run your hands through them, take a sniff... In a large pot, they can also be placed behind the windowsill or in the bedroom: again, run your hands through them and mosquitoes won't be as quick to enter!
Furthermore, a few leaves in the bath are great for a wonderfully relaxing moment of enjoyment. Because the leaves are also edible, a leaf in tea or in iced tea and mixed drinks adds a delightful fragrance and aroma! Further tips: use them to flavour sauces, ice cream, pastries, applesauce, and vinegar.
