AVAILABLE EACH YEAR FROM MAY, JUNE UNTIL STOCK RUNS OUT. This attractive Verbena has firm, strongly scented leaves and lilac with white flower clusters. Enjoy a delicious, potent tea, but it also makes an excellent drink in warm milk! In the kitchen, it provides a unique freshness to fish and meat dishes. This flavor is caused, among other things, by the essential oils carvone (30-35%) and limonene (25%). The Mayan Indians have used this herb for centuries as a de-stressing and regulating agent. The plants are not frost-hardy; overwintering is possible at a minimum of +2̊C.
