AVAILABLE EVERY YEAR FROM MAY, JUNE UNTIL STOCK RUNS OUT. A deliciously fresh and fruity sage, with a real mandarin scent! The leaves are therefore chopped and added to fruit salads and cold fruit juices or used whole in tea. The flowers, which have a slightly sweet scent and are edible, decorate salads and desserts. Also, of course, in meat dishes and what about adding them to cake batter: fresh and aromatic. The plant grows wide and flowers very late in autumn with bright red, tubular flowers at a height of about 50 cm.
Give the plant a slightly shaded spot and well-drained soil. In mild winters or with good protection, the plant will survive; potting it and moving it to a shed during frost is also an option. Annual pruning helps to rejuvenate the shrubby plant. Propagation by cuttings is very easy.
