AVAILABLE EVERY YEAR FROM MAY. DELIVERABLE IN JUNE UNTIL STOCK RUNS OUT. A deliciously fresh and fruity sage that really smells of pineapple! The leaves are therefore chopped and added to fruit salads and cold fruit juices or as whole leaves in tea. The flowers, which have a slightly sweet scent and are edible, decorate salads and desserts. Also, of course, in meat dishes and what about adding them to cake batter: fresh and aromatic. The plant grows wide and flowers very late in autumn with bright red, tubular flowers at a height of about 1 m.
Give the plant a slightly shaded spot and well-drained soil. In mild winters or with good protection, the plant will survive. Potting it and placing it in a shed during frost is also an option. Annual pruning helps to rejuvenate the bushy plant. Propagation by cuttings is very easy.
