This is an old variety, almost exclusively known in the Pomerania region. Information about the history of this strawberry variety is scarce. The fruits are large and aromatic, with an exceptionally balanced sweet-sour ratio. When ripe, they can be easily removed from the calyx. The flower stalks are upright. This protects the strawberry well against rot. Consider this Wonder from Pomerania to be one of the later varieties; ripening begins at the end of June and continues until August.
Our strawberry collection consists partly of rare old varieties, which are only sparingly available. Therefore, the waiting time can be long. Annually in July, a new crop is potted by our grower, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can supplement part of this assortment. Please note that postage costs may apply for any subsequent deliveries.
