SOLD OUT! This strawberry originated in Bohemia (now West Bohemia, Czech Republic), so it dates back to at least before 1918. The fruit has very little acidity and is easy to digest. Many people with allergies who normally cannot tolerate strawberries report being able to tolerate this variety. The ripe fruits emit a very intense aroma and taste extremely sweet and juicy. It is said that one parent of this variety is "Königin Louise". This is certainly where the unique taste comes from! The plant is self-pollinating.
Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only available in small quantities. This means that the waiting time can be long. Each year, a new crop is potted by our grower in July, which is then delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can replenish some of this assortment. Please note that postage costs may apply for any subsequent deliveries.
