Alpine Strawberry 'Buissant des Amories'

  • Product number: 830200.1
  • Origin: Northern Europe
  • Latin: Fragaria x ananassa

A medium-late ripening strawberry of average size, usually growing in clusters of 10 small fruits. Very strong in overwintering, we found this variety in northern Sweden where it has been growing for centuries (so they say). The taste is fresh, apple-like, sweet and sour, and has a firm texture. (bnkk)

Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only available in small quantities. Each year in July, a new crop is potted by our grower, which is delivered in September. In April-May, we can replenish a part of this assortment.

Names:
Latin: Fragaria x ananassa
