Mildew-resistant French variety. Small, compact bunches with small berries, very rich yield, deep blue/black, good taste. An ideal pergola climber due to its very vigorous growth! Besides being a good table grape, it can be used as an ornamental grape, for juice, and as a wine grape for beautiful, deep red, fruity wines. The juice of this grape is dark purple! Flowering and harvesting are early. Watch out for night frost during flowering, protect if necessary. Ripe for wine from the second week of September.
Growing grapes outdoors is the dream of many garden owners, isn't it...? Unlike the disappointing varieties 'Witte van der Laan' and 'Rembrandt', we offer a selection of tasty, mostly disease-resistant varieties, extensively tested in our climate.
Grapes can be susceptible to fungi, such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, black rot, and red blotch disease. Some varieties are almost completely resistant, others have partial resistance or very high resistance to fungi. With a few sprays in the spring with organic remedies (see our chapter on organic crop protection), these can be kept very healthy.
MOST VARIETIES CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). DELIVERY TIMES CAN THEREFORE BE LONG.
