This sweet corn is very reliable in our country and produces short, sweet ears with a distinctive bronze-orange colour. 5 ears per plant is not uncommon, and the plant remains fairly low at 100–125 cm!
This delightful variety originated in Oregon, USA, where Alan Kapuler introduced it to the market in 1987. Its ancestors are ‘Tarahumara Sweet’, ‘Guamas Orange’ and ‘Faro Chilean’.
