A popular flavouring for sauces, stews, and soups, but also (in moderation) raw in salads. The taste of celery, complemented by unique aromas, characterises this wonderful herb, which retains its flavour even after cooking. Named after Unilever's Maggi bottle, which incidentally doesn't even use this herb as an ingredient! The plants like to grow in open ground or large pots, fertile soil, and plenty of sun and water. In these conditions, the perennial plant grows up to 2 m in height. In addition to the leaves, feel free to use the stems, roots, and seeds: everything from this plant adds flavour!
