Angelica, Red

  • Product number: 831500.1
  • Origin: Not applicable / Not known
  • Latin: Angelica gigas

An impressive 1.5 m tall umbellifer, sometimes confused with Cow Parsnip, but much smaller and with rounder flowerheads. The biggest difference is its extensive edibility: young stems are sweet and can be cooked with rhubarb to neutralize its acidity. Tea is made from the leaves. This special cultivated variety has decorative red stems and flowers! The leaves are green. In spring we sell plants, see 831500
