A first from 2011! Above attractive hairy foliage (along the side), masses of white star-shaped flowers appear on short stems, fading to light pink to pink. During flowering, the plant goes through all these colour variations because the flowers do not open at the same time. This sought-after, well-naturalising ornamental onion grows to 20-30 cm high, blooms in June-July and is very suitable for naturalisation.
Ornamental onions (or Ornamental Alliums) are extremely popular! They bloom from May, a time when garden chairs can be brought out!
