Shading agent Temperzon-74

During sunny summers (but also during sudden changes in weather after a long cloudy period), it is wise to shade plants that grow under glass (greenhouse or "cold frame"). This protects plants from scorching and also keeps the greenhouse significantly cooler. Since around 1970, there has been the unique Temperzon, which quickly replaced ordinary whitewash because in dry weather the white material performs its shading function, but during rain it becomes transparent again! Temperzon T-74 allows 42% light through when dry and 82% when wet. That is 280% more compared to a regular shading agent. It is supplied in paste form and diluted with clean, cold water in a ratio of 1 liter of Temperzon T-74 to 1½ liters of water. Temperzon T-74 can be applied to both glass and plastic sheets and does not affect these materials. Easy to apply and (after the material has aged) to brush off dry in autumn, which by the way is only necessary if you also cultivate in winter. 750 ml is enough for 20-30 m² when applying 1 layer.
