A tree that is very hardy in our climate; after a severe frost, freezing can occur, but the tree will sprout again from the root. Everyone knows the powerful healing effect of Citronella oil: ethereal and powerful like Fisherman's Friend... The leaves produce this oil. A healthy and sweet drink is tapped from the wounds in the bark; the plant also appears to provide a sweet manna. This graceful tree grows excellently in a large pot!
