Table leg press 6-Pot

Handy and very sturdy table pot press. Manufactured in the Netherlands, made of 304 stainless steel. The pot press is completely demountable, making it easy to keep clean and maintain. Pressed pots are ideal for pre-sowing; use regular potting soil and a waterproof surface.
Dimensions of the 6-pot press: soil blocks of 3x3x4 cm, diameter of the leg hole (can be pinched shut): 8 mm. Depth: 1 cm. Stainless steel thickness: 2 mm.

Instructions for use of the Table Pot Press:
Start on a sturdy, waterproof surface, such as a soil blocker (see 809992), and use good, normal potting soil as a base, not mixed with coir or other "aerators". Moisten the potting soil thoroughly and press the pot press into the potting soil a few times with a slightly rotating motion. Check if it is completely full and press down a little more if necessary.
The pot press can now be emptied, again over a waterproof surface, such as a water (collection) tray, which we sell in many sizes. While emptying, move the press upwards so that the soil blocks can come out. Carefully slide the pressed pots together; they are now ready for use.
Additional tips: for fine seeds, a thin layer of coir with sand can be sprinkled (once the pots are ready). Always ensure there is a small layer of water in the level tray. The soil blocks should never be allowed to dry out.
