Table Leg Press 4-Pots

Handy and very sturdy table pot press. Manufactured in the Netherlands, made of 304 stainless steel. This updated pot press is completely demountable and can therefore be easily cleaned and maintained.

Pressed pots are ideal for sowing. Use regular potting soil and a waterproof base. 
Dimensions of the 4-pot press: root balls of 4x4x5.5 cm, diameter of the drainage hole (can be squeezed shut if necessary): 8 mm. Depth: 1 cm. Stainless steel thickness: 2 mm.

Instructions for use Table Pot Press:
Start on a sturdy, waterproof surface, for example a potting bench (see 809992), and use good, regular potting soil as a base, not mixed with cocopeat or other "soil conditioners". Make the potting soil very wet and press the pot press into the potting soil several times with a slight twisting motion. Check that it is completely full and press down a little more if necessary.

The pot press can now be emptied, also over a waterproof surface, for example a water (collection) tray, which we sell in many sizes. While emptying, move the press upwards so that the root balls can come out. Carefully slide the pressed pots against each other; they are now ready for use. 
Additional tips: for fine seeds, a thin layer of cocopeat with sand can be sprinkled on (if the pots are already prepared). Always make sure there is a small layer of water in the level tray. The root balls must never dry out.
