(1949) The light pink buds develop into large silver-white, full, fragrant flowers in late May. Healthy plant with stems approx. 80 cm long.
After years of experience in the Netherlands, our grower has put together a TOP assortment of the most beautiful and successful peonies.
They grow in all soil types:
In clay, growth is trouble-free; do not fertilize too much and ensure good drainage.
In sand, the plants remain somewhat smaller; sufficient fertilization keeps the plant in good condition.
In peat soil, growth is generally good, but the plants will need to be replanted or replaced slightly earlier.
Place peonies in a sunny spot, plant them (immediately upon arrival) so shallowly that only a few cm of soil covers the buds, and press the soil down first.
We supply bare roots; each plant has grown for 4-5 years, so the chance of quick blooming is high! Some varieties grow into their intended (double) form as they get older. Colors may vary slightly from year to year and depend on the preceding winter cold. Because we have to wait until the plants have died off naturally, the bare roots are available EARLIEST FROM OCTOBER.
