Rare and beautiful! This mid-season blooming peony is extremely regularly formed and beautifully double-flowered. The mid-pink petals are playfully speckled with dark pink “pinpricks”. A special, fairly rare variety!
After years of experience in the Netherlands, our grower has put together a TOP assortment of the most beautiful and successful peonies.
They grow in all soil types:
In clay, growth is trouble-free, do not over-fertilize and ensure good drainage.
In sand, the plants remain somewhat smaller, sufficient fertilization keeps the plant at its best.
In peat soil, growth is generally good, however, the plants will need to be transplanted or replaced slightly earlier.
Place peonies in a sunny spot, plant them (immediately upon arrival) so shallowly that only a few cm of soil covers the crowns, first press the soil down.
We supply bare roots, each plant has grown for 4-5 years, so the chance of quick blooming is high! Some varieties grow into their intended, (double) form as they get older. Colors can vary slightly from year to year and depend on the preceding winter cold. Because we have to wait until the plants have died off naturally, the bare roots are available EARLIEST FROM OCTOBER.
