Daylilies are rewarding garden plants, generally hardy. Although the opened flower blooms for 1-2 days, the continuous production of flowers ensures weeks to months of bloom. Give them fertile, well-drained soil and full sun. The buds and flowers are edible (lightly fry them). We made a selection from tens of thousands of varieties! Single-flowered and double-flowered varieties occur; if single-flowered varieties have an extra 3 (out of 6) petals, a triangular effect is created, otherwise the flowers have a round or star shape.
