This cultivar of Solanum phureja (a different species than the common potato) is first and foremost highly resistant to Phytophthora. It is a potato that stores quite well: finely floury, crispy, fresh, in short, uniquely flavorful! Try to cultivate them evenly, never let them dry out, and improve heavy soil somewhat. This delicacy deserves a little extra attention... The angular-round tubers have light brown skin and creamy yellow flesh. Chefs honor this type with the designation "ancient potato", it has an intense potato flavor, like a wild potato tastes!
RARE VARIETY FOR CONNOISSEURS
Plant from mid-April, when the soil is sufficiently warm. Pre-sprouting in light or in a large pot can be done earlier. Do not plant them in too wet a spot, but in full sun. The average planting distance is 70x40 cm, we recommend maintaining 80x40 cm to prevent diseases.
