Breeder Stefan Griesser.
This descendant of Solanum phureja (a different species than the normal potato) is primarily quite resistant to Phytophthora. It is a potato that stores well: finely mealy, crisp, fresh, in short, uniquely flavored! Try to grow them uniformly, never let them dry out, improve heavy soil somewhat. This delicacy deserves a little extra attention... The oval-round tubers have reddish-brown skin and creamy yellow flesh. Chefs honor this type with the designation "ancient potato"; it contains an intense potato flavor, just like a wild potato tastes!
RARE VARIETY FOR GOURMETS
Plant from mid-April, when the soil has sufficient warmth. Pre-sprouting in light or in a large pot can be done earlier. Do not place them in too wet a spot, but ensure they get plenty of sun. The average planting distance is 70x40 cm; we recommend 80x40 cm to prevent diseases.
