RARE CULINARY HERB! For those looking to discover new aromas, this unique annual herb (along with Papalo) is a challenge: in Oaxaca (Mexico), this herb is very popular, combining the aromas of cilantro + pine nuts + lemon + mint + anise in a distinct and powerful scent and flavor bouquet. This herb is usually used fresh and raw in tacos or tortas, but in Oaxaca, Pipiche is cooked in a famous regional soup: sopa de guias. Its slender structure and narrow leaves are somewhat reminiscent (in appearance only) of tarragon.
