AVAILABLE FROM SEPTEMBER UNTIL STOCK LASTS.
A remarkable and historic onion! The bulbs form new growth (cloves) in the ground, and "air bulbs" also develop at the top of the stems, sometimes alongside a few flowers. These air bulbs then sprout again, creating growth in layers. Besides being fascinating, this hardy onion also adds a nice spicy kick to salads.
If the bulbs are not available, we can often supply the young plants in spring: 831490
