Ruben Koppert ❞We're busy with a summer clear-out again. The last remaining items are really going out now, and we can start cleaning. The newsletter is also full of varieties that can still be sown now.
✽
880007 Broom Wagon Bulbs and TubersThere's still room for one last, extra-sharp offer! With this large package, we're sweeping our cold storage clean like a broom wagon.
Please note: the contents of the package may vary!
✽
880020 Mushroom Spawn Summer SaleTo continue supplying good and fresh grow kits, we also sell out this product in the summer to empty the cold storage. The composition of the collection may vary slightly, but the discount is the same.
The package may contain: mushroom kits and/or plugs.

Good news from Sweden: the PluggBox is coming back!It took a while, but we were able to purchase a few more pallets full of these "Smartest Seed Kits" in Sweden! They should be rolling in this month, and I'm as happy as a child about it. It's always frustrating when you're very enthusiastic about a product but can't supply it. Read the (long, but fun) story about all the clever features of this compact and beautiful seed kit.

004800 Cape Gooseberry LargeHe's been unavailable for a while, but we finally have him back in stock! Unfortunately, it's too late to sow him this season, but it's definitely recommended to stock up for next year.
This special edible plant is a relative of the well-known Chinese lantern plant. The plant grows over 1 meter tall. After flowering, the lanterns appear, containing aromatic, sweet orange-yellow berries. The taste is a surprising mix of pineapple, strawberry, and tomato, with a subtle bitterness. The fruits are harvestable once their husks have turned yellow and then remain viable for quite a long time.

047900 Pole Bean BlauhildeThis one is also back by popular demand. Climbing bean 'spekboon' – a very high-yielding variety with long, round, deep blue pods that turn green when cooked. The purple-blue beans are particularly tasty and often have more aroma than the usual green varieties.
✽
008000 Endive 'Broadleaf Fullheart Winter'This variety is excellent for autumn and winter use. If sown before August, and provided there is sufficient nutrition and water, it will develop heavy, bushy heads with a yellow and tender heart.
A traditional method to obtain an extra tender inside is to tie the heads together with raffia a few weeks before harvesting.
✽
150500 Chinese Cabbage 'Granaat'Chinese cabbage with medium-length, slightly loose heads. This variety is known for its mild and slightly sweet taste, which comes into its own when stir-fried briefly, as its crunchy texture is preserved. Due to its loose structure, the cabbage cooks quickly and is versatile in the kitchen, ideal for stir-fries, salads, and soups.
✽
228000 Cherry Belle Round RadishesRed radish, suitable for both early and summer cultivation. This medium-sized, reliable variety does not become pithy quickly, making it particularly suitable for summer cultivation. Mulching is recommended for even growth and soil moisture retention.
Radishes are also not only suitable for open ground cultivation, but also do excellently in pots or containers – ideal for balconies or terraces!
✽
324920 Summer Carrots 'Rainbow' F1Mixed carrots on your plate: a beautiful pastel blend of slender, flavourful carrots in soft transitions of white, cream, yellow, and orange. Please note: red and black are not included and must be ordered separately. A true delight on the plate, providing a colourful surprise whether raw or cooked! Despite the different colours, the carrots can be harvested simultaneously.

267200 Savory Salads Edible Flower SaladLuckily, they're becoming increasingly well-known: edible flowers! They are not only a feast for the eyes but also a surprisingly delicious addition to salads or drinks. This year, we offer a carefully curated mix of 15 to 17 annual species. Most of these species are ideally sown up to and including June, but as the growing season shifts further and further, there's still a good chance of a successful harvest even in July. So feel free to sow – and enjoy a cheerful and tasty floral display this summer! Of course, in addition to their edible flowers, all these plants also have ornamental value or can be harvested for their leaves or tubers.
For me, July is always the month when the garden truly comes alive. Everything grows so fast that you discover something new almost daily: the first zucchini peeking out from under a leaf, butterflies fluttering to and from the Nasturtiums, or a row of crisp carrots ready for harvest.
Going into the garden in the evening with a watering can and a cup of tea, birds in the background – that’s summer for me.
Have you already harvested something beautiful or had unexpected success in the garden? Let us know – we’d love to celebrate with you!
Green greetings,
Ruben
