Mila van der Linden ❞Of course... we'll grant you those hours with a good book or "couch potato-ing" with an exciting film. I'm just giving you a few ideas to keep your fingers green!

The Room as a Breeding GroundMore and more people are enjoying indoor cultivation. You can easily grow herbs and microgreens in a pot or on a mat in a light spot. Harvest young and start again: deliciously fresh and a beautiful and healthy addition to your dishes!
Growing sprouts (i.e., without soil or a mat) requires a bit more technique. We have a simple rinsing device, the Bioset, which works fantastically, but success depends on the regularity with which you rinse the seeds. The fully automatic Vitaseed Sprouting Drum, a small version of professional sprouting drums, is absolutely ideal for this. Success is guaranteed, just take a look.

Light enoughFor indoor cultivation, light is essential, as I’ve mentioned before. In winter, the days are short, and behind a window, you already lose 50% of the light that’s on the other side of that window. Light ensures your plants (for example, your newly germinated seeds) grow compact and sturdy. That's why too little light makes your plants long and thin. We have a lot of very good plant lighting in our assortment, economical and effective – just take a look.

Send-off!I've been busy preparing for the next bulb season over the past few weeks. While I always love looking at all those beautiful tulips, daffodils, and other spring-flowering bulbs, it's always quite a lot of work! But it's done now, and I hope you can fully enjoy them starting in September.
Additionally, last week I harvested my onions and garlic, and I'm really proud of my red onions. Normally, we never have much luck with onions in the garden, but this time it actually worked out! Now I'm letting them dry, and soon I'll be enjoying them.
This weekend, I think I'll just relax in front of a fan and maybe go to a swimming pool with some friends. Although I have a feeling that all of Dordrecht will be there too… So we'll see!
