Mila van der Linden ❞Of course... we'd love for you to spend those hours with a good book or "couch-potatoing" in front of an exciting movie. I'm just giving you some ideas to keep your fingers green!

The room as a breeding groundMore and more people are enjoying growing indoors; you can easily grow herbs and microgreens in a pot or on a mat in a bright spot. Harvest young and start again: fresh, tasty, and a beautiful, healthy addition to your dishes!
Growing sprouts (i.e., without soil or a mat) requires a bit more technique. We have a simple rinsing device, the Bioset, and it works fantastic, but success depends on the regularity with which you rinse the seeds. The fully automatic Vitaseed Sprout Drum, a smaller version of professional sprout drums, is ideal for this, guaranteeing success – just take a look.

Light enoughLight is needed for indoor cultivation, I've mentioned that before. In winter, the days are short, and behind the window, you already miss 50% of the light on the other side of that window. Light ensures that your plants (for example, your freshly germinated seeds) become compact and sturdy. That's why your plants become long and thin due to insufficient light. We have a lot of very good and energy-efficient plant lighting in our assortment, economical and effective, just take a look.

See you off!In recent weeks, I've been busy preparing for the next bulb season. While I always love looking at all those beautiful tulips, daffodils, and other spring-flowering bulbs, it's always quite a lot of work! But it's done now, and I hope you can fully enjoy them from September onwards.
Last week, I also harvested my onions and garlic, and I'm really proud of my red onions. Normally, we never have much luck with onions in the garden, but this time it actually worked out! Now I'm letting them dry, and soon I'll be enjoying them.
This weekend, I think I'll just relax with a fan and maybe go to a swimming pool with some friends. Although I have a feeling that all of Dordrecht will be there too… So we'll see!
